Jonina D. Bolton, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist

    Dr. Bolton has over 17 years of experience providing counseling
    services to individuals, couples and families, both in the Northeast
    and in Florida. Prior to moving her private practice to Vero Beach,
    Florida in 2009, Dr. Bolton was associated with a private group
    practice in the Fort Lauderdale area for five years. She has also
    worked in a variety of other clinical settings during her professional career,
    including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, student and group counseling
    centers, domestic violence and sexual assault treatment programs, a spinal
    cord injury rehabilitation unit, and both residential and outpatient Post-
    Traumatic Stress Disorder programs at the Miami VA Medical Center.

    Additionally, Dr. Bolton has facilitated educational programs and presented
    lectures for students, veterans, legal professionals, family mediators,
    healthcare providers, and other psychologists on the topics of Post-traumatic
    Stress Disorder, domestic violence, sexual assault, and relaxation training.

    Dr. Bolton graduated Summa Cum Laude from Connecticut College and
    subsequently completed her masters and doctoral work at Nova Southeastern
    University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa
    Society, the nation's oldest academic honor society, and Psi Chi, The
    International Honor Society for Psychology.
